Brady plc ("the Company") announces that on 27 September 2007 the Company granted to Gavin Lavelle (Chief-Executive Officer) and Tony Ratcliffe (Finance Director) options at nil-cost over respectively 955,955 and 416,565 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company. The exercise price of 41.5 pence per share is the closing middle market price on 10 September 2007, the day of announcement of the Company's interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2007 and the end of the results close period. These grants are in accordance with the terms of employment and undertakings agreed with each director in relation to their recent appointments to the Board of the Company. The vesting of the individual share option tranches are subject to the individuals remaining employed with the Company at the relevant vesting dates.
