Envestors secures £882,000 equity funding for Cherrygood
Braveheart (AIM: BRH), the AIM-listed specialist in growth capital investments for business angels, high net worth individuals and family offices, announces that Envestors Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary, has closed a £882,000 equity fundraising for Cherrygood Limited.
Cherrygood is a fast-growing juice brand in the UK, selling in Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's, Morrisons and Waitrose, and is expanding rapidly through increased distribution and the launch of new products. Developed to capitalise on the global trend of health and wellbeing that is driving innovation in the food and drink sector, Cherrygood aims to be the global cherry brand of choice.
Cherrygood's Montmorency cherries offer significant health benefits including very high antioxidant levels. They are rich in melatonin and used to aid muscle recovery. Cherrygood is consumed by Olympic athletes and other sports people.

John Heseltine, Managing Director of Cherrygood, who previously founded the UK juice bar brand Lovejuice, said: "The money will be used to grow market share in the UK and to continue growth in Europe, the Middle East and the US, specifically, to strengthen the commercial team and support the launch of new products."
