Brit Insurance Holdings PLC09 April 2008 For immediate release 09 April 2008 Brit Insurance Holdings PLC Notification of Interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") and connected persons Brit Insurance Holdings PLC ("the Company"), the UK-domiciled internationalgeneral insurance and reinsurance group, announces the following changes to theinterests of Directors and PDMRs in the Company's Ordinary Shares of 75p each("Shares"). On 8 April 2008 RBC Cees Trustee Limited notified the Company that on 7 April2008 the following Executive Directors and PDMRs were allocated InvestmentShares under the Brit Insurance Holdings PLC Bonus Share Matching Plan 2007("BSMP") at 264.286p per share. The Investment Shares were allocated followingan election by the participant to receive up to 50% of their net annual bonus inthe form of Investment Shares.
