10.06.2021 - Report 20/2021: Candidate to the Supervisory Board of Bank Pekao S.A.

Content of the report:
Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna (the "Bank") hereby informs that in connection with the Ordinary General Meeting of the Bank convened for 11 June 2021, the Bank's shareholder - Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń Spółka Akcyjna proposed Mr. Marcin Izdebski as candidate for the member of the Supervisory Board of the Bank.
The above mentioned shareholder of the Bank informed the Bank that it had assessed the individual suitability of Mr. Marcin Izdebski to act as member of the Supervisory Board of the Bank in accordance with the requirements of generally applicable laws and regulations in force at the Bank and assessed that the Mr. Marcin Izdebski meets those requirements.
The CV of the above candidate is attached to this current report.
In accordance with the provisions of law, members of the Supervisory Board of the Bank are appointed by the General Meeting of the Bank taking into account the assessment of meeting the requirements set out in Article 22aa of the Act of 29 August 1997 - the Banking Law
Legal basis:
§ 19 section 1 point 2 of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance of 29 March 2018 regarding current and periodic information provided by issuers of securities and conditions for recognizing as equivalent information required by the laws of a non-member state (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 757).

Attachment - the CV:
Mr Marcin Izdebski graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology and the Warsaw School of Economics. He has gained work experience in the private sector, non-governmental organisations and government administration, with which he has been continuously associated since 2016. During this period, he has held responsibility for supervision over companies with Treasury shareholding.
He has been responsible for executing equity transactions involving acquisitions, mergers, and divisions of assets or companies. He has experience based on working for the supervisory authorities of capital companies, including PKO Bank Polski S.A.
Currently, he is the Director of the Department of Fuel and Energy Companies at the Ministry of State Assets.
Since 2018, he has acted as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Polska Grupa Lotnicza S.A.
