British Polythene Industries PLC09 March 2007 British Polythene Industries PLC ("BPI" or "the Company") Director shareholding The Company announced on 6 March 2007 that Mr John T Langlands, Chief Executiveof BPI, sold 5,849 shares, which was to meet a tax liability in connection withthe award of matching shares under the Company's Restricted Share Scheme. Due toan administration error by the Company's registrars the number of sharesrequired to be sold to meet the tax liability should have been 7,021 shares. Following the sale of the additional 1,172 ordinary shares on 8 March 2007 tomeet this tax liability at a price of £5.023 per share, Mr Langlands has abeneficial holding of 84,717 ordinary shares representing 0.32 per cent. of theissued ordinary share capital in BPI.
