Braemar Shipping Services plc (LSE: BMS), a leading international provider of broking, consultancy, technical and other services to the shipping, marine, energy, offshore and insurance industries, announces that the Company was informed on 24 August 2017 that the trustee of the Braemar Shipping Services plc Employee Share Ownership Plan had released 13,250 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Shares") to James Gundy, Chief Executive of the Company's Shipbroking Division.
The release was made following the vesting, on 25 July 2017, of the Shares awarded to James Gundy at nil cost under the Company's Restricted Share Plan.
Following this announcement, James Gundy holds 477,102 Shares, equivalent to 1.58% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
