Clarification: Significant Shareholders Update
Bushveld Minerals Limited (AIM: BMN), a diversified mineral development company with projects in Africa, provides clarification in respect of a "Close of Takeover Offer" announcement released on the Lemur Resources Limited website on 12 November 2013. The announcement, in line with the requirements of ASX Listing Rules, provided a distribution schedule of ordinary shares in Bushveld and the names, number and percentage of ordinary shares held by the top 20 shareholders in Bushveld. The announcement is attached hereto.

Bushveld advises the following in respect of the schedule of the top 20 shareholders in Bushveld provided in the above-described announcement:
1) The schedule released on ASX on 12 November was based on regulatory requirements of ASX Listing Rules and reflects the REGISTERED SHAREHOLDERS in Bushveld as at 11 November 2013
2) The Company announced its latest significant shareholdings on 07 November on the basis of extensive analysis of all shareholdings (including those held by nominee shareholders) by its registrar Capita Registrars. The analysis sought to consolidate holdings held by the same beneficial owners and provide a clear view on the ultimate shareholders of the Company
3) The Significant Shareholders Update RNS released by Bushveld on AIM on 07 November 2013, reflects the BENEFICIAL SHAREHOLDERS of Bushveld as at 04 November 2013 following analysis of the shareholdings (including those held by nominee shareholders) by its registrar Capita Registrars. The analysis sought to consolidate holdings held by the same beneficial owners and provide a clear view on the ultimate shareholders of the Company
The Company would like to confirm that the announcement made on 07 November continues to be effective as at that date and to avoid any misunderstanding the Company now provides, in the table below, the same analysis as at 11 November 2013.

· The major shareholders of Bushveld Minerals remain. The top 5 shareholders control 52.99% of Bushveld as at 11 November 2013
· Nine of the top ten shareholders remain in the top 10 shareholder list
· Specifically, Mineral Wealth International Limited, Acacia Resources Limited, Coal of Africa Limited, Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (Guernsey), Oak Trust (Guernsey) Limited together accounting for 49.92% of the Shares of the company have not changed their shareholding and remain committed supportive shareholders of the Company
· Share movements that have occurred between 04 November 2013 and 11 November 2013 have largely been in respect of Private client accounts
· Significant private client accounts feature in the top 20 shareholder list and account for 26.74% of the total share capital of the Company
Any confusion that may have resulted from the company's ASX announcement of 12 November 2013 is sincerely regretted.

The Company owns the Bushveld Iron Ore Project and Mokopane Tin Project, both located on the northern limb of the Bushveld Complex, South Africa. In addition, Bushveld has a controlling 54.39% interest in ASX listed Lemur Resources that owns the Imaloto coal project in Madagascar.
Bushveld was admitted to the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange in March 2012.
