Director/PDMR shareholding
Benchmark notifies the following exercise of options by Mark Plampin, Chief Financial Officer, and change in the total number of voting rights in the Company.
On 1 December 2016, Mark Plampin exercised options over 135,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company at an exercise price of 0.1 pence per share, under the Company's historic Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) scheme. Following this exercise of options, Mark Plampin is interested in a total of 536,686 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company representing approximately 0.1 per cent. of Benchmark's issued share capital. Mark Plampin is also interested in options over a total of 67,647 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company.
In addition, certain other employees of the Company exercised options over an aggregate of 535,173 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence each in the Company, under the EMI scheme and Company Share Option Plan (CSOP).
Following allotment of the 670,173 ordinary shares to be issued pursuant to the exercise of the above options, the issued share capital of the Company will be 522,018,252 ordinary shares of 0.1p each with voting rights. The Company holds no shares in treasury, therefore the above figure (522,018,252) represents the total number of voting rights and may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
