Dynasty Update
Blue Star Capital plc (AIM: BLU), the investing company with a focus on esports and blockchain and its applications within gaming and payments, provides the following update as a result of information received from its investee company, Dynasty Gaming & Media Pte Ltd ("Dynasty"), that Dynasty has entered into an agreement through LPDY Ventures ("LPDY"), its 50/50 joint venture with Lets Play Live ("LPL"), with Supercell Oy ("Supercell").
Dynasty advises that LPDY has signed an agreement with Supercell as part of the current LPL Brawl Stars APAC Tour to advertise its platform to Supercell's user base. Under the terms of the agreement, LPDY is entitled, throughout the duration of the tour, to monetise sections of its platform with sponsorships, advertising and all other available monetisation options. Dynasty believes that this may drive further registrations to the LPL platform.
The LPL Brawl Stars Asia-Pacific Tour invites esports fans from across the Asia-Pacific (East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia and Oceania) to compete across three gaming events from May 2024. Brawl Stars is one of the world's leading games with approximately 330 million monthly active users and Supercell is one of the world's leading gaming publishers.
Dynasty further advises that it is expecting to sign similar deals with other leading games publishers across all of its consumer platforms in Oceania (LPL), India (Googly), and the Philippines (Lightning Dragon).
