Notice of Preliminary Results

Avanti Communications Group plc (AIM: AVN), the satellite operator, will be announcing its preliminary results for the year ended 30 June 2008 on Wednesday, 01 October 2008. 

An analysts' briefing will be held at 0930hrs at the offices of Avanti Communications, 74 Rivington Street, London, EC2A 3AY.

Avanti sells satellite broadband services to wholesale customers targeting consumer, enterprise and institutional markets
Avanti's first satellite, called HylasOne is under construction and due for launch in 2009; the company plans further satellite projects
