PDMR shareholdings
Augean, one of the UK's leading specialist waste management businesses, was notified that on 22 March 2018 Jim Meredith, Executive Chairman of the Company, purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 27 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this transactions, Jim Meredith's total shareholding in the capital of the Company is 2,500,000 Ordinary Shares representing 2.43 per cent. of the voting share capital of Augean.
In addition, Augean was today notified that Roger McDowell, Non-Executive Director, purchased 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares through his pension plan at a price of 26.03 pence per Ordinary Share. This takes Roger McDowell's total shareholding in the capital of the Company to 4,000,000 Ordinary Shares representing 3.89 per cent. of the voting share capital of Augean.
Finally, Augean was today notified that North Atlantic Smaller Companies Trust Plc ("NASCIT"), of which Christopher Mills, a Non-Executive Director of Augean, is investment manager, purchased 1,550,000 Ordinary Shares on 22 March 2018 at a price of 27 pence per Ordinary Share and 1,250,000 Ordinary Shares on 23 March 2018 at a price of 26 pence per Ordinary Share. Oryx International Growth Fund Limited ("Oryx") also purchased 450,000 Ordinary Shares on 22 March 2018 at a price of 27 pence per Ordinary Share and 350,000 Ordinary Shares on 23 March 2018 at a price of 26 pence per Ordinary Share.
Christopher Mills is therefore now interested in 22,200,000 Ordinary Shares being 21.56% of Augean's issued share capital. 13,800,000 Ordinary Shares are held by NASCIT, 8,300,000 Ordinary Shares are held by Oryx and 100,000 Ordinary Shares are held by Harwood Capital LLP ("Harwood"). Harwood is investment manager to NASCIT and investment adviser to Oryx. Harwood is a limited liability partnership of which Christopher Mills is a partner and Chief Investment Officer. Christopher Mills is also a shareholder and director of both NASCIT and Oryx.
