OAO Tatneft published its unaudited consolidated interim condensed U.S. GAAP financial statements for the nine months ended September 30, 2008.

Today OAO Tatneft (the "Company") published on its web-site http://www.tatneft.ru/eng/buh.htm the unaudited consolidated interim condensed financial statements for the nine months of 2008, prepared in accordance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles ("U.S. GAAP") and the related Management's Discussion and Analysis. 

Selected financial highlights below are based on the respective U.S. GAAP financial statements of the Company. Russian Ruble amounts have been translated into U.S. Dollars at the exchange rates on the last day of the respective reporting period.

The Company's consolidated revenues for the nine months of 2008 were 378,066 mln Rubles (US$14,973 mln) as compared to 258,436 mln Rubles (US$10,235 mln) for the respective period of 2007.  The consolidated net income for the nine months of 2008 was 30,397 mln Rubles (US$1,204 mln) as compared to 29,531 mln Rubles (US$1,169mln) for the respective period of 2007.

Total consolidated assets of the Company increased from 370,219 mln Rubles (US$14,665 mln) as of September 30, 2007, to 412,854 mln Rubles (US$16,351 mln) as of September 30, 2008.

Total consolidated liabilities of the Company increased from 101,661 mln Rubles (US$4,026 mln) as of September 30, 2007, to 127,215 mln Rubles (US$5,038 mln) as of September 30, 2008.

Total consolidated shareholders' equity increased from 264,059 mln Rubles (US$10,458 mln) as of September 30, 2007, to 281,161 mln Rubles (US$11,135 mln) as of September 30, 2008.
