Pentagon Protection PlcΒ ("Pentagon" or "The Company")Β
New Contract WinsΒ
Pentagon Protection (AIM: PPR), the global specialist in the supply and installation of enhanced glass protection, is pleased to announce that the Company has won three new contracts at a combined value of Β£109,000.
The largest new contract is for the installation of a solar control reflective film at a Manchester-based multi-let office building. The contract value is Β£50,000 which includes the supply and installation of reflective film to 1,531 panes of glass with works expected to take between 5 and 7 weeks to complete. The secondΒ largest contract,Β valued at aroundΒ Β£35,000, has been awarded by one of theΒ North West's leading construction and development groups.Β This contract is for the supply and installation ofΒ blast protection film at aΒ prestigiousΒ building in centralΒ Liverpool. The film is being applied to 1,135 square metres of glass over 10 floors.
The smaller of the three contracts,Β valued at Β£24,000,Β is PhaseΒ IIΒ of a previously announced contract (announced to shareholders on 29 February) for a Swiss intergovernmental organization. PhaseΒ IIΒ involves the supply and installationΒ of a 200 micron clear 2-ply security film to the internal surface of external windows from the ground toΒ fourth floor of a building in Geneva.
In additionΒ to the new contracts,Β the Company reportsΒ that it continues toΒ hold discussions with two smaller companies identified for acquisition.Β This follows the successful raising of Β£445,000 acquisition finance as announced to shareholders onΒ 23 June 2008.
