Pentagon Protection Plc raises £445,000 through a placing of new Ordinary Shares
Pentagon Protection (AIM: PPR), the global specialist in the supply and installation of enhanced glass protection, announces that it has raised £445,000 through a placing of 89,000,000 new Ordinary Shares at a price of 0.5 pence per share.
As indicated in the interim results of the Company released earlier today, the board of the Company is looking to make a number of smaller acquisitions. The proceeds of the placing, raised by Dowgate Capital Stockbrokers, are expected to be applied towards the payment of the consideration for any such acquisition. Discussions with potential acquisition targets are ongoing although no formal contracts have been signed.
Application has been made for the placing shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on Thursday 26 June 2008.
