Ashmore Group plcΒ ("Ashmore") announces that onΒ 21Β NovemberΒ 2008 it purchased 195,284Β ordinary shares of 0.01p each at an average price ofΒ 108.1229Β pence perΒ ordinaryΒ share.Β These shares will be held asΒ treasuryΒ shares.
The highest price paid wasΒ 109.5Β pence per share and the lowest price paid wasΒ 106.5Β pence per share.
