Contract extension with Base Company

Artilium plc (LSE/AIM: ARTA), the AIM quoted provider of innovative telecommunication software and solutions is pleased to announce that it has extended its largest existing contract with Base Company.

The current contract will be extended for an additional year until December 2017. The value of the contract, based on the expected amount of active subscribers on the platform deployed, is expected to be approximately €2 million per annum.

Base Company has decided, given the nature of the partnership, to make a commitment to Artilium for the services it is due to receive over the next three years. As a result, Artilium will receive a cash payment each January during the contract period of approximately €1.7 million which will be recognised in equal installments over each 12 month period.

As a result of this contract extension, Artilium will continue to deliver the ARTA Platform (already implemented at Base Company) and the managed services for this platform going forward.

Bart Weijermars, CEO of Artilium, commented: "We are very pleased to have agreed this contract extension with Base Company, our largest client. I believe it reflects well on the work we have done together since 2004 and we look forward to working closely together in the future. It underlines the stability and quality of our offering as well as the flexibility of our platform and its ability to support the continuously changing demands of our customers".
