Asia Resource Minerals plc ("ARMS" or the "Company")

Board and Committee Changes

ARMS announces that Bob Kamandanu has resigned as Chairman and will step down from the Board with immediate effect. Dr Wallace King, currently an Independent Non-Executive Director, will assume the responsibilities of Chairman on an interim basis, pending a permanent appointment by the Company in due course.

The Company also announces that Sir Richard Gozney, Senior Independent Director, will chair the Nominations Committee and Hamish Tyrwhitt will chair the HSEC Committee, with immediate effect.

Sir Richard Gozney said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Mr Bob Kamandanu warmly for his contribution and wish him all success with his future endeavours."

Dr Wallace King, Interim Chairman, said: "I echo Sir Richard's sentiments, and look forward to leading the Board on an interim basis as we seek to deliver on our strategy."
