SMC Group Plc12 February 2007 SMC Group Plc ('SMC' or 'the Company' or the 'Group') Directorate changes SMC Group Plc, a leading group of architects and designers, announces that theChairman Sir Rodney Walker will become Executive Chairman with immediate effect.Sir Rodney will take on day-to-day control of the business supported by othermembers of the Board. Stewart McColl, formerly Chief Executive, becomes Deputy Chairman. The Group has recently strengthened its Group finance team under the directionof Finance Director, Robert Boardman. The five strong team now includes a GroupHead of Finance recruited from SMC Charter Architects.
