ArmorGroup International plc04 December 2006 4 December 2006 ArmorGroup International plc Awarded US Department of Defense training contract ArmorGroup International plc, the leading international provider of protectivesecurity services, has been awarded a further $3 million contract to providespecialist training to the Department of Defense (DoD). The contract with theDoD has been won in conjunction with the specialist intelligence analysis andExplosive Ordnance Disposal training consultancy Hazard Management Solutions Ltd(HMS), with whom ArmorGroup signed a teaming agreement in September 2006. ArmorGroup has been working closely with HMS for some time on the developmentand instruction of a wide range of courses for specialist units of the DoD andNATO. These courses combine the unrivalled operational and technical expertisefrom both companies to create highly innovative and realistic training.
