The shares were acquired primarily by North American institutionalbuyers, including existing as well as new investors in Southern AfricanResources, to facilitate a distribution under the governing instrument of thefamily trust which holds CGT. After the transaction, CGT holds 56.8 millionordinary shares in Southern African Resources, representing 14.4% of thecompany's issued share capital.
