Β£490,000Β inΒ newΒ InternationalΒ ANPR ordersΒ
AppianΒ Technology plc, the AIMΒ listedΒ provider of Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems ('ANPR') and traffic management products and solutions,Β has wonΒ new international contracts worth a total ofΒ Β£490,000Β in the Middle East and the US.Β Β
In theΒ Middle EastΒ theΒ Company has won orders totallingΒ Β£400,000. These includeΒ the installation ofΒ ANPRΒ technology to improve security atΒ a furtherΒ twoΒ prestigious hotels in the United Arab EmiratesΒ andΒ a Β£150,000Β initialΒ orderΒ for aΒ nationwideΒ counter terroristΒ ANPRΒ network. The system,Β which will utiliseΒ the Company'sΒ TalonΒ ANPR and Cobra camera products,Β willΒ be used by government security agencies.Β Β Following successful installation,Β a substantial order toΒ expand the systemΒ is expectedΒ within the nextΒ 12 months.Β Β
AppianΒ has alsoΒ wonΒ contracts totallingΒ Β£90,000Β fromΒ threeΒ newΒ USΒ Police Department customers.Β Β The Company will be supplyingΒ mobileΒ ANPR systems to be installed into vehicle fleetsΒ toΒ assist in crime prevention.Β
