Directors' Share Purchases

Anglo Pacific Group plc ("the Company") announces that Chris Orchard, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer, bought on 7th December 2009 10,000 shares in the Company at a price of 214.16p per share. Following this notification his revised beneficial interest in the Company is now 50,000 shares representing approximately 0.05% of the issued ordinary share capital.
