Appointment of Phil Lancaster as Business Development Director and signing of new distribution lines
APC Technology Group PLC (AIM: APC), the provider of design, specification and distribution services for specialist electronic components, products and systems, announces the appointment of Phil Lancaster to the role of Business Development Director. In this new role Phil, the longest serving member of the Board, will use his extensive industry knowledge to drive the Company's growth plans by introducing new supplier partnerships to extend the range of products and services offered.
For three decades APC has built long-standing customer relationships in hard-to-penetrate market segments including UK defence, aerospace and oil and gas. For the last ten years, the company has also enjoyed growth within financial, commercial real estate and industrial markets.
Acting as a UK marketing, sales and distribution portal for best-in-class rest of world component and system manufacturers, APC creates value for its technology partners and end-customers through its market and product knowledge, engineer-to-engineer technical sales expertise and extensive experience managing import and logistics requirements.
Since Phil took up this post, three new UK distribution agreements have already been secured which expand the company's RF and Microwave and High Reliability product portfolios:
• Signal Microwave designs and manufactures RF and microwave connectors for the signal integrity and high speed digital markets. Moving beyond the technology developed by traditional microwave connector manufacturers, Signal creates innovative new connector and circuit board products which improve the price and performance options available to equipment manufacturers.
• Crystek is a high performance technological world leader in RF, microwave and frequency control industries. Crytek's highly trained engineers provide the research, development, and technical support to develop high quality customised products that serve a diverse customer base with complex needs.
• Datel is a long established world leader in data acquisition products recognised for their innovation and reliability in meeting the requirements of the most demanding applications. The company is a key supplier for instrumentation and high precision applications including those in APC's traditional high reliability markets.
