The Company announces it has been notified by Nick Lyth, a Non-executive Director of Altona, that, on 17 December 2015, he purchased 1.3 million ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 0.718p per share. This is Mr Lyth's only holding of Altona shares and represents 0.16 per cent. of the issued share capital.

About Altona
Altona is listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market. Its principal focus is on the evaluation and development of the Company's flagship Arckaringa Project to exploit the significant coal resources contained in three exploration licences covering 2,500km2 in the northern portion of the Permian Arckaringa Basin in South Australia.
