Amino Technologies PLC09 November 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 9 November 2006 AMINO TECHNOLOGIES PLC PARTNERSHIP TO BUILD IP STBs WITH CHENGDU USEE Amino Technologies plc ("Amino" or "the Company"; stock code: AMO), theCambridge based broadband network software and systems company, announces thatit has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MoU") with Chengdu USEEDigital Technology Co. Ltd. ("USEE"), a broadband multimedia company based inthe People's Republic of China ("PRC"). Under the terms of the MoU, Amino and USEE plan to collaborate closely inrespect of development, production, marketing and sales to provide broadbandnetwork added value services within the PRC. The agreement provides for theprogressive development of the relationship. Initial orders have been receivedfrom USEE for 10,000 IP Multimedia Terminal Devices (set-top boxes) for deliveryin early 2007; significant additional orders for delivery during 2007 areexpected. These orders will start to contribute to revenue and profit in Amino's2007 financial year. Amino and USEE will also co-develop additional products incorporating Amino'sIntAct software stack in order to provide applications such as AVS (advancedaudio and video standard) codec technology, video telephone application (VTA),VoIP, gaming, etc. The AVS codec technology will be developed by Amino usingsoftware codec expertise gained from the acquisition of SJ Consulting lastJanuary.
