Amerisur Resources Plc ("Amerisur" or the "Company")
Statement re Directors' Dealings
Amerisur Resources Plc, the oil and gas producer and explorer focused on South America, announces that it has issued 43,320,000 new ordinary shares of 0.1p each pursuant to the exercise of 2007 options at 7.15p each by Directors of the Company in the following amounts:
Giles Clarke | 26,100,000 |
Nick Harrison | 8,720,000 |
In addition, Tracarta Ltd, in which John Wardle has a beneficial interest, has exercised options over 8,500,000 ordinary shares at 7.15p each.
Application has been made for admission of the new shares to trading on AIM and dealings are expected to commence on 1 August 2012. The number of shares in issue is now 959,693,831.
Furthermore, the Company has been notified of the following dealings on 27 July 2012, principally to cover the exercise costs and tax due on the options, in the Company's shares:
