ParaguayĀ -Ā OperationalĀ Update
Amerisur Resources Plc, the oil and gas explorer and developer focused onĀ South America,Ā is pleased toĀ giveĀ the following updateĀ on technical work performed in its Paraguayan properties.
The surface geochemical sampling programme in the San Pedro contract has beenĀ successfullyĀ completed on time and within budget. The samplesĀ are currently being analysed at the laboratoryĀ ofĀ the specialist consultantĀ inĀ Bogota.
The samples were acquired in the form ofĀ twoĀ separate grids located over distinct leads identified through reprocessed and re-interpreted 2D seismic data. The northern grid measuredĀ twoĀ byĀ 19Ā km and the southern,Ā fiveĀ byĀ 19Ā km. All samples were acquired at the points required by the grid, and the condition of the samples was described as excellent by the acquisition contractor, who considers them suitable for analysis.
Initial results will be available duringĀ earlyĀ JuneĀ and final analysis will be completed duringĀ JulyĀ 2009.
