Amati AIM VCT plc (the "Company")

As announced on 12 April 2018, the joint fundraising launched in October 2017 by Amati VCT plc and Amati VCT 2 plc has reached its target of £20m and the Offers are now closed to new subscriptions. However, the Company had already received and accepted certain applications to subscribe for shares in Amati VCT plc prior to the merger between Amati VCT plc and Amati VCT 2 plc, and in order to issue shares in respect of these applications the Board of the Company has resolved to make use of part of the £10m over-allotment facility as provided for under the Terms and Conditions of the Offers.

The extent to which the over-allotment facility is utilised for further issues will depend on the availability of new investment opportunities over the next few months, in relation to which the Board of the Company will provide an update in due course.

Terms defined in the joint prospectus issued by Amati VCT plc and Amati VCT 2 plc in October 2017 have the same meaning in this announcement.
