Result of AGM and Appointment of Non-Executive Director

 

Amiad Water Systems Ltd. (AIM: AFS), a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that at the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company held earlier today, all resolutions were duly passed, including the resolution appointing Mr. Oded Rosen as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

 

Mr. Rosen, aged 71, has been a member of Kibbutz Amiad ("the Kibbutz"), which is the major shareholder of the Company, since 1961 and currently sits on the General Management Board of the Kibbutz. In 1982, he joined the Company as CEO and was instrumental in Amiad's decision to enter the automatic filtration market. He subsequently assumed the position of Vice President for Production Operations, a role he held from 1986 until his retirement in 2010.

 

Eli Opper, Chairman of Amiad, said: "We are delighted to welcome Oded Rosen back to Amiad. Having spent over two decades of his working life with the Company, during which time he was a valued employee, he has an extensive understanding of how Amiad operates. We look forward to benefiting from his experience."

 

There are no other matters required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to the AIM Rules for Companies as regards Mr. Rosen's appointment.
