AFI DEVELOPMENT PLC("AFI DEVELOPMENT" OR "THE COMPANY") RESIGNATION OF SENIOR INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
London, 13 July 2016 - AFI Development announces today that it has received notice from Mr Christakis Klerides, the senior independent non-executive director of the Company, of his resignation from the Board, effective from 13 July 2016. The resignation is due to family reasons of Mr Klerides.
The Company intends to seek a new independent non-executive director to replace Mr Klerides, and will update the market as and when a replacement is found. The Company intends to appoint Mr Panayiotis Demetriou as the senior independent director at the next Board meeting.
Commenting on today's announcement, Mr Lev Leviev, Executive Chairman of AFI Development, said: "On behalf of the Board of AFI Development and the whole Company I would like to thank Mr Klerides for the years of his valuable and constructive contribution to the Board of AFI Development".
