Shareholding in the Company
The Company was notified on 7 May 2009 that, as at close of business on 5 May 2009, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited had an interest with direct voting rights in 49,724,177 Ordinary Shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company, representing 6.97% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
The Company was also notified on 7 May 2009 that on 5 May 2009 Lansdowne Partners Limited being the General Partner of Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership and Lansdowne Partners International Limited had an interest with indirect voting rights in 82,208,333 Ordinary Shares in the Company representing 11.53% of the total issued share capital. The Ordinary Shares are registered in the name of Vidacos Nominees Ltd.
The Company was also notified on 8 May 2009 that on 8 May 2009 Investec Asset Management (Pty) Ltd had an interest with indirect voting rights in 50,942,057 Ordinary Shares in the Company representing 7.14% of the total issued share capital.
