Advanced Fluid Connections PLC24 November 2005 Advanced Fluid Connections plc ("the Company") 24 November 2005 Trading Update Advanced Fluid Connections Plc ("the Group"), the fluid connections andintellectual property group updates the market as follows. The Group confirms that the recent increase in copper prices to unprecedentedlevels, has added considerably to the cost of production in its plumbingproducts. Despite recent increases in selling prices, these costs have not yetbeen fully recovered from the market. Accordingly, the Plumbing Division is notexpected to achieve its profit expectations for 2005. However, the group's Industrial Division continues to perform to expectationsand, as indicated in September, our patented technology is attractingsignificant interest from major international companies in the industrialsegment. As a result of the increased raw material prices affecting the PlumbingDivision, it is unlikely that the Group will now be able to achieve the expectedlevel of Operating Profit (before goodwill and exceptional items) for the fullyear to 31 December 2005.
