Suspension of Listing
AEIT announces that, due to a small number of outstanding points in respect of the Company's preparation of its annual report and audit thereof which, following discussions with the auditor, the Board believes will be resolved within the coming days, the Company has not been able to publish its annual report and accounts for the year ended 31 December 2023 by the required deadline of 30 April 2024 in accordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule DTR 4.1.3R.
The listing of, and trading in, the Company's ordinary shares was therefore temporarily suspended with effect from 7.30 a.m. today.
The person responsible for arranging the release of this announcement on behalf of the Company is Uloma Adighibe of JTC (UK) Limited, the Company Secretary.
Sue Inglis, Chair of Asian Energy Impact Trust plc, said: "The Board is disappointed by the delay in the reporting timetable and will work with the Company's auditor to complete the audit in the coming days and apply for an immediate restoration of the listing."
