To accommodate pandemic-prevention needs in compliance with the competent authority's "Guidelines for Holding Shareholders' Meetings in Response to the Pandemic".

6. Countermeasures:

(1) Change of location for the 2020 shareholders' meeting to Aspire Resort (No. 428, Kewang Rd., Longtan District, Taoyuan City), while taking measures including provisioning a quarantine area for shareholders with fever in compliance with the "Guidelines for Holding Shareholders' Meetings in Response to the Pandemic".

(2) Encourage shareholders to e-vote through the official platform.

(3) Increase the number of locations to distribute souvenirs on the day of the shareholders' meeting.

(4) Provide a livestream of the shareholders' meeting.

In response to COVID-19, Acer is taking a broad range of precautions and stringent measures to prevent the spread of the disease. In order to minimize the risks to shareholders and staff, and comply with the Financial Supervisory Commission's "Guidelines for Holding Shareholders' Meetings in Response to the Pandemic," the location of its annual shareholders' meeting has been changed to Aspire Resort (No. 428, Kewang Rd., Longtan District, Taoyuan City).

Aspire Resort is a self-owned property of Acer, is operated by its wholly-owned subsidiary Aspire Service and Development Inc., and includes an international convention center and sports arena. With a large and spacious footprint and ample airflow, its facilities are ideal for pandemic-prevention measures (including spacing of attendees, the separation of the flow of entering and exiting the facility, and also to provision a fever isolation area).

In order to separate the crowd of people attending the meeting and those who just want to collect the souvenir, additional locations will be available for souvenir distribution in addition to the shareholders' meeting venue (Aspire Resort). These locations are: Acer Xizhi Headquarters (No. 88, Sec. 1, Xintai 5th Rd., Xizhi District, New Taipei City), or Acer shareholders' services office (No. 369, Fushing North Rd., Taipei City).

Acer supports the authority's promotion of e-voting to exercise shareholders' rights, and will livestream the whole meeting to allow stockholders who choose to e-vote to view the meeting as it happens.
