Anglo African Agriculture plc (LSE: AAAP), the London Main board listed food manufacturing and trading company announces the appointment, with immediate effect, of Robert Stuart Scott as non-executive director of the Company. He will have responsibility for the coordination and implementation of all finance related aspects at the Company.
Rob Scott is a South African chartered accountant and has been a director of Dynamic Intertrade (Pty) Limited (“Dynamic”), the Company’s wholly owned food manufacturing business in South Africa, for 5 years. He has been involved in setting the strategy for Dynamic and has an intimate understanding of its day-to-day activities.
Rob Scott has 30 years of financial, investment and corporate management experience in central and southern Africa. This includes appointments as General Manager of Uramin’s South African operations and Country Manager for Lonrho.
David Lenigas, AAA’s Chairman, commented:
