On March 29, 2013 the JSC Partnership Fund, as the sole shareholder of the Company, consented on the decision of the supervisory board of the Georgian Railway on appointment of Mr. Mamuka Bakhtadze on the position of the Director General (CEO) of the company dated March 27, 2013. Up to the decision Mr. Bakhtadze worked for 3 months as an advisor to the Acting General Director.
Mr. Mamuka Bakhtadze is graduate of I. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Georgian Technical University. He holds Master's Degree in Management from Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov and Master's degree in Business Administration from INSEAD. Till 2013, he worked as the Director General (CEO) of the Georgian International Oil Corporation. In 2005-2006 he used to work at the Georgian Railway as a project manager of the Restructuring Assistance Project (Booz Allen Hamilton).
