We all know what is happening here. The magical cc completions were a sign to any partner, hey we CAN go it alone.
Well. don't forget you haven't even done your share dilution paperwork correctly! And don't forget to put in all the nasty stuff that you have to as well; just to scare your PIs and trash your SP so we can buy them.
1bn barrels of OIP U.S. strategically important oil and 100'sbn of carbon capture credits are being fought over and someone is calling in all their favours and now sending in their keyboard warriors.
Hi Tilburn,
You suggest '...and eventual sale of asset for north of $ 1 Billion, how will PI feel then about the CEO?' but i believe this $1bn sale figure you keep repeating is massively undervaluing ~1.5bn OIP in Wyoming at 15% tax and the massive potential of the carbon capture revenues. Any deal MUST include a Carbon Capture revenue sharing element.
We have ~60 wells that someone could use to store their carbon which COPL are not even using on the CC alone.
Thanks for that confirmation info illuson. I firmly believe that any deal with a Direct Air Carbon Capture element could dwarf the value of our oil.
Plus, the $185/tonne of carbon capture would use the next door wind power farm.
We have a fantastic piece of real estate.
Please make sure Art knows this.
SO SO nice to see an RNA on a single topic which is of great significance to the company and it's booked reserves, with great detail allowing it's LTH's to have a cheer about. May it continue to clean up nicely and produce more at full WTI prices.
Come on COPL, build the excitement in stages then 'Blow the Fluffing doors off'
I tend to look at it another way being a cost/benefit analysis. You use the bank account up but for a fee (£421k) but your cash is used productively to pay for your CC recompletions and then you GO FOR IT with 6 well recompletions at plus 300bopd all unhedged till June23. Great benefit if it works!
This would be very welcome news to have 2 rigs, casing sorted and recompletion started today but it MUST BE RNA'd.
Each part is worthy of a single RNA for other oilers, so why not COPL?
Common BOD's - sort the market comms out!
I like your style Tilburn but the CEO must be pushed by his board of directors to perform and communicate out exciting information to stakeholders. Not the YES men we have now!
The comms from other oilers **STARTS** from when the rig is booked and the employee breaks wind, then when a spud takes place and then the results!
To ART and the Board - get your act together!
Sorry but i do want to be greedy. There is a 6 month play here to more akin to fair value, a 2 year play and a 10 year play. All is to play for.
The Board of directors should not give away probably 100bn of revenue for peanuts. After all, AM with his 4m shares won't last long in retirement at such a low return and he won't then be able to say 'I am the best oil deal maker...'
Here is a nice pdf on carbon capture, from 2013 !

Nice posts Edgin and Tilburn eptc,
Don't forget to add in that, Wyoming allows stratification of oil seams so he could always just do the 7,500ft seam as a JV with a side hussle of give us lots of pipe and casing as well, for our other levels. Perhaps see how the first 16 wells go under JV then renegotiate.
I have been looking at the June 2022 production figures per well versus the number of days of operation per well from the WOGCC site data.
I notice that the following wells in June had reduced days of operation from the expected 30 days. Art said in the Presentation that work had ALREADY started in June to clear out the wax. Really STRANGE that this dewaxing work starts just after we get the nod on CUDA...
BFU 34-20V / 49-009-34818 had 21 days of production in June
BFU 44-21V / 49-009-34233 had 25 days of production in June
BFU-FED-11-28V / 49-009-40751 had 24 days of production in June
I think BFU 34-20V was the first well to be reviewed and then de-waxed with the dewaxing process being learnt hence the 9 days outage.
I think the other two wells have been dewaxed and the dewaxing process lessons learnt have now reduced the outage process down to 6 days. Good job SWP.
I am looking forward to these wells showing signs of flowing much better in the July production figures.
A search on google on dewaxing shows that it as art form that has to be tailored to each well/oil type/site.
I agree that the future should be very bright and i get that the RNA only allowed 50% of our land to be included in the IRR. However this needs to be addressed directly tomorrow for the 'lay investor' and to the City of London exactly that the future drilling strategy will hopefully add large numbers on top again.
Our CEO needs to stop messing around with 'interpretable' RNAs and holding Q&As at 16:00 when at 15:00 uk time i think both markets are open...
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Put in here what you think of that as a comms strategy... deliberate or just bloody stupid!
You can see people are trying to find out your selling price... don't tell them
The original owner of Atomic i believe was gifted 5.94% of copl at buyout plus $10m in cash. I found out his name on one of the Cedar filings once and wasn't there some suggestion he recently died and his executors were offloading? I know i would have given my near 6% to JP Morgan and said play with this...
