The timing is perfect. With covid hopefully under control and getting our lives back (pants on head party). I’m extremely excited on where we will be when heading into 2022.

I know what you’re saying though, it’s not like they are going to pay the cash calls. Unless the debt owed is in the guide price for selling?

I guess they can’t say anything that will trigger price movement until it’s confirmed what exactly the agreement is.

Let’s say I owed you money and you took me to court but then you dropped the case on me, surely that’s because we’ve come to a settlement where both parties are happy. This is what has happened here clearly.

Maybe as a guess, that $1.1m that was handed to the court from GSPC has been offered to Oilex and that GSPC will leave Cambay. Atleast that will be nearly half the drilling bill covered.

Also don’t be surprised if the winning bidder is a bid made from 2 companies working together that want to make a trio with Oilex. (Hense partners and not partner).

Shares in junior oiler Oilex Ltd (LON:OEX) gushed 26.5% higher to 0.2p in late-afternoon as it confirmed that it had terminated arbitration proceedings regarding a dispute with Indian state-backed Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC).

The firm said that the proceedings at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre had been ended after a settlement was reached with GSPC in early September concerning the Cambay field joint venture, in which Oilex holds a 45% stake.

The firm said the proceedings had been formally ended after all parties had implemented the settlement, which it said was an “important step” in restarting active work at the project.

We are still yet to get the settlement details... obviously some sort of payout is coming except they can’t pay us because we are waiting on the sale to go through. This is what will “restart” the project.

The irony if you sell your last bunch at 2.5p ;)

Back in the day Gordon when you first bought oilex shares, were you looking for a quick trade or was it part of a long term holding?
