5 weeks behind? I closely monitor the Lancet as I believe the BBC (Bullsh*t Broadcast News) gives a negative view on everything. It could be sunny outside and the BBC will still focus on saying its not going to last long. ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 is the effort from Oxford and the trials are being documented very well, it was only earlier today during an interview Dr Maheshi Ramasamy stated the results are very promising in P3 of the development trials. The interview was via Oxford official news press release and ends with promising news that in coming weeks they will release data showing efficacy rates. This will bring the uptick for sure. AstraZeneca will ensure that their efforts are published on the best platform and I would guess BoJo will comment on such news via a broadcast as this is his project. Giving Oxford Ac. & AstraZeneca the best light will be part of a Brexit strategy too, leaders in global pharmaceuticals.
I agree with FD that your purchase was at the uptick momentum whilst most are prepping for pull triggers. The rest are in the Long Term (LT) strategy and have been in for quite sometime. What I would say is don't let todays poor trading reflect on the long term look depending on what strategy made your decision from your research shown that this is for sure a Long Term. We only joined in early March but my brother wants ST and I wanted LT (ongoing debate) so we are all at varying levels. If its any warmth, the release of Oxford joint effort are very close to releasing data sets (I think it will be before the 2nd Dec lockdown date) via public platform very similar to Pfizer then moderna this will for sure create an added boost that will hopefully add value to the price.
I personally cannot see a large extension of lockdown, maybe at most a push to the right in days purely down to timings so they can implement a better structural tier system. If we take the approach of the Jocks that will allow more areas to open in a phased approach. Still alot of areas in England are not complying and still roaming around with endless reports of pubs open serving cans with curtains shut to the passing public (Blackburn) also a news report saying a wedding took place with over 30+ guests (again Blackburn) so with a tiered system punish those in the areas that break and those in areas with very low % rates allow to continue with levels of freedom. The revenue through taxes in Dec is a large pot that cannot just hemorrhage away so I personally feel a very large extension will not be permitted. With Furlough in place till March this helps out massively but only short term. All IMO that is.
Indeed the typo was accidental, I get the fingers typing as fast as I can as my brain (not Brian) races ahead and I'm left typing a few minutes behind my forward thinking. My only reason I joined this board which is now a source of humour was to respond to his constant remarks about Mars and have some banter which seemed to have scared him off and now he's putting all his love in to other boards (poor souls of those HOC & Co.) I remember that comedy 2 Pints of Lager and packet of crisps, however from SuperDischarger's previous posts I think he's a Pedigree drinker and as for crisps perhaps quavers so its easier to digest.
I think his reference to Boris Johnson was to keep the vulnerable indoors and protect them, pity he didn't say take the keyboards away from those that need keyboard shielding.
Brian Potter strikes again......... awakes just before midnight for his 3rd pee of the night and is urged to have a troll on the boards. Is it me but did he say ‘my’ 73p but yet he sold out at 50p? Thankfully his advice is about as much welcomed as an umbrella in a Gale force wind.
Good to you back SC wasn’t a keen fan of your other pseudonym or did you log on to wrong account?
There are so many variables in this question that it's hard to really put a figure on it. In my opinion within a year from now I feel we should be sitting on 90-100p and that's being liberal. Others may say more but I'm taking the worse case scenario as anything over is a bonus.
Great minds think a like!! I thought exactly the same, the great anti-climaxer hasn't shown his face on here for a while. With a single post and being negative with no substantial evidence to prop him up I think we can comfortably say the poster or obfuscated ditherer is bored.
It was a great thread you gave over the weekend, I did try to respond however having multiple fences break through lockdown (nice ramblers giving thought to others) I spent 2 days fixing them. A good uplift today and cracking view from Jim on the interview. Tesla man probably still busy inventing his Capt Tom Ale secret recipe........
Trustnet is by far the quickest of them all, I use them as they seem to be 3-4mins ahead of LSE. Also Trustnet is more than just RNS it also shows the very latest from GlobalNews wire. When Pfizer released the news it took a few minutes to hit the BBC SKY RT etc however at 1145hrs when it was released I was reading the announcement.
link for those who would like to use it than rely on slower platforms.

both a good read.
Hello stranger, hope the medical procedure to remove the "Hyde" element went accordingly. My post was not negative and I have remained here and have not "sold out" or felt any inclination to "weak sell" but ensure my vision was still aligned to the business strategy, I for one haven't bagged and tagged and fled the scene with my loot. I feel this week is a good week and much-needed morale for many investors. Morale is more welcomed than negativity IMO. Apart from that its nice to see you back and hope you can add much input.
After a very bad conversation with my brother, I was trying to defend the fact that whilst the motion is in good speed why issue a RI however it made the subject niggle at me all evening. The time would be perfect now to stick in the RI and raise much-needed funds to reduce debt. I know the Dec prelims will go more into detail however I cannot think that this figure should more or less be known by them. I guess sitting tight and see what pans out this week will give some relief for the LT its a roller coaster ride still till we can rule out the intentions of fPeel Hunt. I read Fairdealer's comments and agree that it's not an easy task reducing that amount of debt something is going to happen and dont want to lose this off the radar.
I think we're in for a real treat once this Covid bu88gers off. With the Carlsberg Group purchasing the huge German brewer Wernesgrüner this brings some great German brands I remember very well from my days in Bielefeld Germany. Bitburger & Craftwerk IPA's will be welcomed greatly in the UK markets I feel.
Well looking at the new re-org and the major changes in C-suite positions I can only see either a RI imminent or within a few years a complete buyout. I guess it's now a waiting game to see what Peel Hunt do (or should I say forced to do)
GLA I think we need it.
Think you will find out that by doing proper research you will see that M&S bought 50% stake of Ocado retail for £750m. I have very heavy interest in OCDO so know this market pretty well. Linked below for your perusal in case you get bored.

RF won't be too happy either if there is an RI as presently he is sitting on 1.1m+ shares at a loss of £700k. With Peel Hunt leading many paths I see a turbulent time for quite sometime.
Not sure what time the news release will be but I am hoping they give more detail than the RNS. Hopefully, they will give the planned structure and re-org announcements. I guess with the national lockdown being released over the weekend this may be pushed to the right.
Already I see CarlsbergMarstons.co.uk is now live.
Think we're expecting a knee jerk reaction first thing but looking at the markets is not going to be just the UK, it's going to be the whole of EU. We loaded up more over the weekend ready for the top up at some point this week. With the US comical elections and Lockdown fallout this week will be turbulent.
I was reading the Lancet over the weekend and I was very surprised to see the amount of Phase 3 completions already and in the final stages of analysis. With an early date projected for January once passed the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and European Medicines Agency and for vaccine delivery as early as the end of 2020. It shows how the UK is advancing on the vaccine front and that Oxford and AstraZeneca are surging ahead with remediation.
We've loaded up and ready for another big swoop on low hanging fruit.
US elections and a 4 week lockdown only means 1 thing.....time to top up again. Perhaps SuperDischarger will get a day release pass and invest in some cheap shares. I guess we won't be hearing from him today has he'll be out Trick 0r Treating in his Tesla mobility Scooter. Have a good weekend everyone I'm off to make Game pie and YES I'll be using Owd Roger Ale.
Pleasant weekend members and yes you too SC !!
