Gone away for a bit and … 0.4p bid!

34 mil volume … looks like Monecor is near enough cleared out.

He can carry on exploring whilst getting some revenue from the waste pits and from anywhere else he can get his hands on.

He is already allowed to sell ALL gold found during the exploration phase and only pay 4% royalty. He said so on a number of occasions.

What is the point of having that royalty agreement in place, if he is going to wait until the production phase when very likely will need a new agreement?

If we don’t see any gold until the production phase …. Then look for the SP to rot down to 0.0p again!

Early revenue generation is important and we should keep asking for an update … Middle of May for a “definitive answer” to this has passed.

Better volume than Friday today … pity is all sells.

What we need is an update on early revenue generation from Clogau - to me, more important than the GL spinout. The SP already got a knocking from delaying last years bulk samples, we don’t need another knock by delaying this update.

“NEXT MONTH” means May … and the middle of May has passed. A good update on this will reverse this SP rot and send the SP back on the upward trend.

I posted this earlier but this very important. I emailed Alba already reminding them of what they said in the 13 April RNS.

These guys (BOD) do need to put their hands in their pockets and buy some shares to boost sentiment.

If for nothing else out of some moral responsibility ... they are the ones responsible for killing the SP ... 14p/12p down to 0.8p.

There is only one thing that matters to people that buy shares in order to make money – the value of the SP – these people make money when the SP goes up. Dilution diminishes the SP, is not good for them.

One of the criticisms that we had for Alba in the past is that they are spread too thinly and we did in the past ask them to prioritise expenditure. But this is not always possible because of minimum spent requirement to keep the licence going.

The Greenland spinoff is indeed good news for shareholders.

It eliminates the need for placings to finance their development and right now looks like money is needed for the drilling. A placing from current SP level will effectively kill the SP again and GF knows that. Also, Alba will keep a big part of the the new company retaining value.

Alba will be left with the UK and Irish assets and will be able to give more of their time, attention and money to these assets, with one of them effectively a ready made gold mine. Clogau already drove the SP up to 0.56p – and we haven’t seen any gold yet! What will happen to the SP when we do see gold?

Reason for this? – Dilution of the SP.

On 2 May 2018 Alba had 2,848,614,934 shares —- and —- on 2 May 2021 has 6,227,828,989 shares — 2.2 times more shares.

Excessive dilution is not good for long term shareholders – it diminishes investment.

Yes, this spinoff is good for shareholders.

I repeat again, the meteoric rise from 0.05 to 0.56p was down to Clogau and Clogau alone.

The Bergen facility stabilised the SP? Emergency stabilisation using the Bergen facility? Really?

When the Bergen facility was introduced the Alba SP was at 0.2p. At the time I wrote to Alba complaining about it – the worst case of funding they could have had; free shares, warrants, fees …

Their broker arranged it who was later fired along with the Bergen facility.

As per my calculations, the Bergen facility costed 543,916,667 shares for a miserable £237.5k

This is an effective conversion rate of 0.044p per share. Yes 0.044p/share.

The share price took off from 0.0p when Clogau was announced.

And even though we had 3 placings and a ton of warrants exercised along the way … the SP got to 0.56p based on Clogau good will.

People keek forgetting that the meteoric rise from 0.0p to 0.56p *** (11++ BAGS) *** was down top Clogau and Clogau alone. There is value in Clogau (and Ireland).

This spinout is good for shareholders. No dilution and value is preserved. Overanalysing results to paralysis.

I note your views. However, It is normal for the BOD to buy shares to send a message when the share price is knocked. Most companies do it (and they do it even when the SP knock is due to no fault of their own), except of course the devious ones like (in my opinion) ukog.

Alba a few years back, with the SP at 0.2p the BOD bought shares at 0.3p.
CHF recently, the SP dropped for no good reason and 4 members of the BOD dived in and bought shares.
EVE recently, the SP fell for no good reason and the BOD dived in and bought shares.
I can go on and on

With Angus, the LTHs are suffering, some heavy losses, all because of the way the BOD acted, BOD fault. I’ll say if nothing else they have the moral duty to do what they can to support the SP. After all they are the ones responsible for knocking the SP off.

Personally, I am way under and would feel a ot more comfortable if the SP was higher. If all is good as they say, and this is a “value play” why not buy some? They are not going to loose are they? - value play.

I gathered that lol. Yes, the market hasn’t yet caught up. Most will be buying on FOMO when it shifts.

I am shifting some money to ISA next week and if it is still below 0.30p I will be adding a couple more million now when is quiet.

Ocelot, that is true. This move is good news for shareholders and the SP now looks cheap to me. By the time the market catches up with this development here the SP should be a lot higher. The fear of dilution is gone and Alba retains value in Listco. Ofcourse Clogau which last year propelled the SP from 0.048 to 0-.56p (11+ bags) is still there.

Crocqman, drilling the additional well now makes sense. Once you start production and then decide to drill you are running in to SIMOPS issues and to work around them is adding to the costs. Better get it out of the way now.

As far as BOD buying shares, why not pop the question to them? What have you got to loose? You don’t ask you don’t get.

Last TR-1 showed Monecor having 60.9 million left as of the 18th May.

Since then we traded at least 82 million (not including after hours trades).

Next TR-1, possibly Monday, should show a big reduction, maybe below 3%.

Very good performance by Monecor, will be selling all of them at a premium - placing was at 0.325p.

If they like the question they put it straight up. I put a question last month and was up and answered within 2 hours.
