Curio, I would expect them to normally RNS the fact that they are one of the nine but may be their agreement with YLB does not allow them to do so and this is vindicated by the fact that none of the nine issued an announcement yet.

We should be getting some more news soon, particularly if the side track is be drilled before 1st gas - last RNS dated 11 Aug (3 weeks ago) stated that bids were in and were evaluated. The evaluation should be completed within a month maximum, so we should be hearing about it soon.

Market expectations let down again! Why say August when you know there is not enough time. And why no RNS to clarify this delay?

Obviously, getting the JORCs will lead to better evaluation of two of the Greenroc assets, but why no RNS to explain this? Why tell the market that you are going to do something by a certain date and then not explain why this date was not met?

EagleEyes, I agree with you in that all nine have indeed been notified of their selection and are working on the proposed technologies and MOUs. What the guy on twitter claimed is that most of the 9 have been notified (of their success or failure in clinching a deal) of final outcome - This was the implication and is not true.

None of the 9 companies YLB selected have been notified yet.

SignalMan who posted on twitter that most of the 9 companies have been notified by YLB has not come back with a link to a company announcement making such claim. Appears to be a made up story.

Frustrating? We should have had the Greenroc IPO launch or at least an update by today - but we did not receive one.

I have just asked Signalman (via tweet) to give an example of a company that have heard from YLB, let’s see if I get a response naming a company.

Ocelot, I agree that is better to wait until after first week of September, but in view of the fact the IPO launch in August is still stated on the web I would have expected them to at least issue an update RNS today.

Hopefully the seller is done and dusted, or changed his/her mind and decided to hold. I increased my holding considerably since last director buy. Hopefully CC will decide to follow TP and buy too … that will start the sparks flying.

Serif, thanks, more good points. I have listen to the interview, again, and my feeling is that we are going to get news soon on multiple fronts. The North Sea acquisition is in “advanced stage” and news are imminent.

It will be a pity if there is another raise for an acquisition so soon after the last raise. But you maybe right again, they may be able to fund it from existing funds as they will now be earning substantial revenue. We will know soon.

As far as I know, no company is named yet. They maybe finalising their technical proposals and signing MOUs. In all likelihood all 9 will be named at the same time.

In fact, if the SP stays down here I will add substantially to me holding as soon as I clear some funds.
