Very true Legal, and your statement on believing milestones over the next 6 or so months will be hit is exactly where my head is with this one.

As I've indicated before, slowly and gradually losing conviction with every month that goes by, but not yet near the point where I sell - the resource, macro setup, and opportunity is just too damn good :) Feels silly to not stick around for a while and see where this goes

I get the exasperation from Computer honestly there's days when I feel like that too, especially when you look at the performance of the market around BRES. As of today the S&P500 has had a stronger performance over the past period (pick one) so I honestly get the frustration. But ultimately we are talking about an opportunity to invest in a truly singular resource narrowly attached to the key themes of our time - defence, electrification, AI, deglobalisation. What an exciting place to be! In my view, position sizing is crucial here - as I mentioned before I've already broken all my rules and BRES is a far bigger chunk of my portfolio than these micro-cap miners tend to be - but as long as the position size is adequate then these repeated doldrums really shouldn't hamper one's portfolio performance too much, making the wait a bit easier. Long time follower, rare poster here. To me this is a delusional take, alongside all the other delusional "we just need X then this will bounce" takes on this thread. Don't get me wrong I'm very enthusiastic on the company and resource, it's one of the biggest positions in my portfolio and I've broken all my position sizing rules because of how attractive and dislocated the valuation has historically been. Unfortunately I am gradually losing faith in management, they had been fantastic for years at hitting milestones on time and underpromising & overdelivering.

Seems like I'm in the minority on that opinion but curious to hear from others, what would it take for you to actually lose faith in the mgmt team? Clearly that's the only part of this business that can be called into question (resource being world class, geopolitical & macro tailwinds). I'm trying to make a habit of having a clear trigger on this, otherwise I'm just pulling wool over my own eyes - presuming others on here are rigorous in their investing discipline, curious at how you are defining these rules for yourselves.

Yeah but 0 effect on share price so far... Not a deramper or a bear on this stock, but have been dissappointed with the sp movement following DFS - I (we) have been waiting on that report to cause a rerate for years.

Agree with the consensus here - breaking all my position sizing rules here....

I generally don't like a management team that pats themself on the back, but I do hope that MR takes this opportunity to highlight and acknowledge all the work and progress made in the last few years and how this has contributed to de-risking and adding value to the project - I don't believe the work completed is reflected appropriately in the current share price, let alone the exciting future prospects for this organisation.

Well it's worth noting because that hasn't always been the case here. seems like we're coiled and ready to bounce

Stratching my head here, how many times have we been told that we're fully funded through DFS... I've generally been extremely positive about this one, overall happy with management, and thrilled with the resource - it remains a significant holding for me, but I'm going to need some good news soon.

Let's see how things progress over the next few days, but the indications are positive so far - wishing all fellow LTHs a safe ride if/when this does pop

Completely with you 909, holding both BRES and KOD has been a rather tedious experience so far

Quite enjoying these depressed prices, a nice late xmas gift from mr market. Could anyone remind me when the DFS is due? I have Q1 in my notes, but in some later notes I have H1. A few other AIM plays are bound to rip short term so need to be clever (thoughts) about allocation timing.

In fact if management is able to secure a solid deal for the powder metals business (kind of like they did for the worthless hydrogen BU) then I'd imagine a decent pump will follow, despite the cyclical woes. Wouldn't mind seeing 20p though as I only have a monitoring position currently & am keen for a good opportunity to load up.

Noodle your frustration is shared by everyone here I think (save the odd deramper - though we've generally been spared that nonsense), including myself.

This was never going to be a short term play so embarking into this with expectations of a multi bag since covid is probably unrealistic. Timeline for DFS - the big piece of news, was always early 2025 so aside from some share churn into sticky hands idk why people expect to see this rise in a meaningful way in the meantime.

I do have expectations which have not been met around the prospectus, but aside from that I think leadership have done pretty OK. Given the geopolitical stakes I can imagine the decision making required to get this company to production is knife edge stuff. Fair play to leadership so far is my opinion, it looks like they've set themselves up to deliver here.

Also not sure about the jab to LW, maybe have a snickers & get back to us noodle

Cheers all, great to get your thoughts & indeed in my head I had jumped to "dilution = going out to retail" when that really wasn't appropriate. And as you fairly point out management have been transparent about this - just a case of me not putting 2 & 2 together
