Looking at the current top 10, oil companies are represented heavily in the list after this week’s slide in the price of crude. Nearly 20% of Premier Oil’s shares (PMO) are now being shorted as investors gamble that some oil companies will not be able to survive the current low oil price environment. Premier’s shares have fallen from around 100p at the start of the year to 12p this week – a loss of 88% - but the shares were up 75% at lunchtime on Friday.
Wood Group (WG.) and Tullow Oil (TLW) are also highly-shorted names in the sector, with 8.93% and 6.44% of their stock currently out on loan.
What about this ?

You see, This war with Saudi and Rus is one thing, the other and I think more important for TLW SH are Shorters. Damn shorters are killing the price down every single time when it's a chance for TLW to go back to 20-30p at least. This is not good. all the shorters should be banned and TLW SP will go back to 30's or more as it should be.
I bought some around 0.60p almost a year ago and i can agree, someone is pushing SP down. A bit upsetting but we are too small to change it. We need some proper investor to boost it up
I should have said Big win or Bigger ! :)
I think all will ends up with positive upside and all will be happy :)
of course except Partrige who is nagging everything and everyone with positive comments :)
Maybe he shorted and this is the reason ? :)Don't really care.
I am looking towards good positive news soon.
I could close position as I have bought it at same price it's now. But no :) Big win or nothing :)
Good Luck to all who have shares here :)
partridge and you are telling me that i am talking bull**** ? please ... look at your posts. how old are you anyway ? 10 ?
And my advice:
If you are here to spread Negative's only - get the f. out of here.
As you all can see, most people who are posting negative comments on shares DO NOT OWN them.
This should be a positive most the time, as people are loosing money because of bad management (neg comments have impact too) and the company have to change something inside and gain the investors trust. I am wainting for C4 and their move after deal is done :) we will see.
Marbur I didn't say Sp will go up because of brexit, but from my point of view all local companies should profit on this, as lots of companies in UK are from EU. This will end at the end of Jan. So I would say maybe this will go up a bit.
What about that Director ? Do we know if they want to appoint him/her by the end of month or this will wait till Feb comes ??
I am still very optimistic about the price, as it's not going down. It's quit stable I can say and good news will make upside a bit (like appointing new director).
There were plenty of companies which went down to bottom and came back stronger than ever and I hope Nu is one of them, this is why I decided to invest in here.
Playing against the market is always hard choice. Now market is seeing Nu as a duster but who knows what will happen in few months ? I had few K to add to my portfolio so I think I didn't make a mistake here :) Normally 80-90% of my predictions are right so we will see :) If I am right this time, all who invested here now will get a big profit, If I am not, well ... you should only gamble with money you won't feel when losing and playing on the market is like flipping the coin. It can go both directions.
Oh sugar, this is what is happening when doing something too fast :/ I missed dates.
Sorry all.
That report was from 6th Jan 8:00 --> 8th Jan 15:00
Sorry one more time.
Still 2 day average is good don't you think ?
Just made a list of today's trades. info from sharesmagazine.
59x Buys (£ 78 666.03) - 159 040 549 shares
21x Sales (£ 41 092.60) - 82 760 085 shares
Looks ok to me, that means people investing in here - what is good.
I don't have any other info as I am still at work so have no access to my tables. Just made it quickly. :)
Shares are going up and down everywhere.
Now we have a Brexit and this is our company. Should/will start kicking from Feb upside. + reverse takeover is not a bad thing. I know, lots of negative things happened to Nu but still I have good thoughts about it. 52 week was 1.00p-0.05p.
Lots of people lost trust, but lots still believe in that takeover and Brexit.
Also
Raising £420,000 in a share placing to enable the company’s entry into new contracts is a good and I can say very positive thing.
If this won't go to 1p it should to 0.5 at least.
SP is undervalued a lot.
But when you look on other SPs they had a massive drop as well in 2019 (TLW - Tullow oil - this went down from £5 to 50p).
Shell went down by 5-6£, BP by 1£.
Also there is a Oil price too, went down a bit so all Oil companies went down a bit.
Some of them are stable so BP Shell didn't get a big hit, but small companies did.
This is all recoverable, against all that negative vibrations around. Just buy and be patient (my opinion).
We shall see. Come and take a look here in few months, then you will take that words back :)
I have to say, price now is even better to buy stock :) happy days will come, wish to have more money to invest :/ ehh.
Very happy that we are moving slowly UPside :)
It's very quiet here. Why ?
Any interesting RNS's ? :) Be positive :) we will get to 1p sooner or later :) no worries :)
I would say one thing.
There are other shares where people are making profits.
The NUOG went down mostly because comments like yours.
Please go cast negative comments elsewhere. Most of the people here are here because they are waiting for recovery and your comments don't help us at all.
If that would recover to 14p i go retire :) HAPPY DAYS.
