I would like to add that the equity in Vodafone is around £66b. I understand that some assets were purchased at higher prices, so let’s discount around £15b for bad judgment. It still leaves around £40b of equity which is double current market cap.
It’s probably a transfer from one institution to another at a pre set price. All the shares were initially bought through the normal exchange over a period of time. The transfer to the end holder doesn’t have to go through the normal books.
That’s my understanding of it
Please don’t gloat when sp is on the way up. It can easily backfire.
Just hold tight and enjoy the ride. Am heavily into Vodafone and waiting patiently for £1.
Let the derampers say their piece. It doesn’t affect the sp.
