You need to start spread betting to make bigger profits. I was reluctant to start for 11 years. But started 1 year ago, and made more money than the past 11 years investing in actual shares. Falky also does it profitably.

Yes, I agree with both of you. We do need more of quality and responsible youngsters who will pay tax to keep the country running smoothly.
Covid19 has actually played more than one role. It has reduced the number of people who are reliant on state benefits/pensions etc. It has provided politicians an opportunity to change the people’s excessive way of life (like the Americans). Politicians are trying to create a better environment and healthier lifestyle for everyone going forward.
Sometimes we don’t understand what they are trying to do. We don’t have the facts and figures like they do. But rest assured that they are implementing changes for our benefit even though they are also lining their pockets in the process.

Birth rates has been declining every year. Governments, all over the world, are searching for solutions on how to increase birth rates.
WFH, closing pubs early, lockdowns, limit outside entertainment etc has had some positive effects on birth rates, but not enough to stop the decline.
The MRNA covid vaccine has been found, in research studies, to increase sperm count and the quality of sperm. The government wants everyone to become like rabbits. Go forth and multiply......
You should have more kids. Do your duty and service for queen and country. Happy rogering....

Some people can read between the lines while others are oblivious to it. Nothing can change others opinions as long as they hold onto their mindsets and paradigm.

This new virus seems like either;
1) Scare people to take up more booster jabs (because more profits for pharmas, and for the politicians mates who owns shares in it)

2) More profits for the PCR manufacturers and the people who own shares in those

3) Make the public use up the excess unusable PPE that was bought by our (expert) politicians who awarded these contracts to mates.

If you read it properly and understand it fully, you will find that the overall tax for banks has been reduced from 33% to 28%. This new rate will be in force from 2023.

Piece of advice for the paid negative spreaders, that this board has some intelligent posters. So, you need to be intelligent to spread false negativity on here.

I don’t hold it for a set price like Falky does. I sell progressively as each position hits my mentally set profit target. Then as it retraces, I buy those positions back. Sometimes it doesn’t retrace enough to buy.....

Now down to 1.5 million shares. Currently banking around £3k a day as profits.

I agree with you Falky. Also, yesterday’s banking mayhem was panic driven. Barclays up over 4% and LLoyds up over 2% as I write....

Next week will see it above 40p

The sp hit 40p twice since March. It didn’t close above 40p.

As unemployment increases, birth rate increases. More births will equate to increase in revenue. Next few years will see a baby boom.

I like to read in between the lines and try to understand the bigger picture.

Does anyone think Brexit was orchestrated by bigger powers? Does USA have future plans to invade a part of Europe, hence the removal of their ally from EU? UK increasing defence and army budget. Any thoughts?

I bought 522,000 lloyds at 29.2p. Was upset when it went down to 24p, and the board members bought at 24.
VMUK has done a lot better than all the bank share prices. Contemplated buying either ITV or VMUK when both were around the 75p mark. Bought ITV. Kicking myself now.
Hindsight is always better. But remember the wise old saying: The stock market is a place which facilitates the movement of wealth from the impatient to the patient.
