Minor what I said is true, the Botswana government and also the government’s of the other South African countries have failed there people, with regards to sources of uninterrupted power supplies , be that coal fired power stations or renewable energy sources! But then along comes tlou with big ideas, tony gilby who has done it all before, talking the talk. So we invest as all seems well, you think that hang on here’s a country who wants to do better by its people, every thing seems fine but hold on the wheels start to come off at an alarming rate, tg promises this and that but nothing happens, the bots government start to stall, then tlou management start to lie to us about how tantalisingly close we are! Not sure what they thought we were close too! So we invested in a gas to power company, but then because they can’t get the gas to flow at commercial rates we are now a solar and gas to power company, but have no cash for either because tag has let all his shareholders down by relying on a government that has been a complete let down, instead of having a plan b tg has let us all down. And now we are pretty much locked in here! When was the last time the bod gave an interview to let us know where we are with this god forsaken project.
Mm what happened to the leak you were ramping about last week? Bet you don’t answer that! Or the buy out you ramped would happen at the end of this year?

Unfortunately nothing is going to happen here with this bod running things! So we’ll all be locked in for a long time yet! It’s a disgrace that colm clueless even said we’re tantalisingly close to funding 8-9 months ago!! He hasn’t got the balls to come out and apologise for it, this is just a lifestyle company for the bod in my opinion, tg is overseeing a total shambles of a company!! I think most long term holders here will be out the door if the sp spiked, but your more likely to see pig’s flying than the bod do anything positive to create such a spike!!! Sack the lot of them!!

Magnet, appiamma demonstrates an ignorance of not being able to see why long term holders here are annoyed at the lack of progress. Anyone in Tony gilbys position and with his knowledge would be able to acquire the permits needed especially with the time he’s had to get them, getting the permits is not an impossible task for anyone, appiamma makes it sound as though it’s an amazing feat obtaining them (it is not). This project is now 2 or 3 years behind schedule because of the path that Tony has taken us down, yes that’s right 2-3 years because they didn’t have a plan b! We don’t know where we are with regards to funding as colm said it was close 7months or so ago, it’s just really poor management and as for us being sold, what a load of bulls&@t, maybe in a couple of years if the bod ever manage to get the funding, drill more wells, get solar off the ground, get a signed ppa!!! We might be bought then, but can’t see it happening any sooner. This why long term holders are disappointed with how things have turned out because all the early hype and promise have massively failed to materialise. Tony is in charge, so the blame falls at his feet. This has been a massive disappointment for all invested!!!

Shares in issue are starting to creep up but we’re not seeing any progress to warrant the extra shares! Going to be much nearer to a billion when/if they decide to get working on securing the funding!!! Very poor

When I post such things I get shot down for being negative! Your both totally right with what you say. In my opinion tg needs to secure funding from another entity because this is a joke waiting for it to materialise from bots! It’s totally Tony gilbys fault, we didn’t have to get a ppa or funding from bots! That’s his bad decision making and his choice to take us down that route, but it just isn’t working out! My being negative is just borne out of total frustration at a lack of positive progress. I’ve said it before but the next obstacle in our way will be the election period, that will be the next excuse for not cracking on. It’s just so poor here

We have a millionaire holder then, he’ll be able to write it off against tax when he realises what a mistake he’s made!!
