I’m locked in I’m afraid and I will not take the loss, so am stuck and that’s my decision but it doesn’t mean I have to be happy with the way things are going!!

Do you believe that the company are in talks with multiple parties regarding funding? I don’t believe a word of it, 16/18 months ago we were told that we were tantalisingly close but if that were true it would have been done by now, even if they hit a snag or 2 it shouldn’t take this long to sort out!!!
I think they have only ever had 1 option in mind regarding funding and are totally oblivious to what shareholders want!
Almost at the end of q2 and still not a single sign of progress, how is gilby going to spin this ship show in the quarterly results? More of its going to happen soon or in the near term rubbish!

Really is this all the news that gilby gives us now?

If we are not ready to build the lines then why raise the money and tell us the raise is to build the poles and wires in the near term? It doesn’t add up to me. Also why have a contractor sorted if we are miles away from actually doing something? Everything is as clear as mud with tlou.
Gilby needs to spell it out, the actual plan of attack here and the true timescales, all this near term rubbish has worn a bit thin, I’d rather know the truth.

The building materials are a 2 factor thing over here, lockdowns and Hinckley point are buying everything in such bulk that all big companies are having their orders halved! Not sure in bots though.

Well someone did put up some big money on the raise that’s for sure so maybe you’re right winni. But it is still very frustrating/soul destroying not hearing anything positive on any front!
What is your take on why the funds haven’t been put to good use yet on starting the poles and wires?

The company’s relations with share holders or the smaller pi is non existent but I expect the larger shareholders are more than aware of what’s happening IMO.
Come the end of the year hopefully gilby will hand over to someone else if he can’t get us moving!!!

So no rns about the orapa tender, did we or didn’t we or has the date been extended? The company are dog sh£& at letting us know what is going on!!!

They might be on a reduced wage but what they are producing is nowhere near good enough, yes I’ve lost faith with the management, I’ve been here so long now it’s a bit of fomo if I’m honest, but I’ll still have my say If I’m not happy!!!

No but the longer it goes on, the longer they are getting money for nothing!

So Mozambique have given the green light and acquired the funding needed to progress that project! $1 billion!!!!
While our bunch of clowns can’t even get $10 million needed for our first phase!!
Something must have gone wrong here that we are not being told about, I think we have had a fall out with the government or the like and that is part of the reason this is a non starter!
Our lot are just laughing as they sit behind their desks twiddling their fingers counting the money we keep on paying them for doing jack sh@£

Brad, colm said that they had sourced the long lead items in an interview along time ago, I’m sure it was from another job that didn’t happen. If I am mistaken on that fact then the company have had all of last year and half of this year to source the materials needed because they have done little else in that time, so the materials and prices should have been sorted way before the came looking for the funds IMO!
And once work starts on the poles and wires they have gg in country to manage it while restrictions continue!
Please stop using COVID as an excuse for the company’s poor performance!

It’s a worry when the bod are feeding us what they want us to hear, so you then think right we are off again things are looking up, but in reality the opposite happened!
For me that raise was definitely to secure money to pay the wages for longer, maybe not all of it but definitely some of it, which is not how they sold it to us all by any stretch of the imagination!!!!

What annoys me is the company raised money to start the poles and wires and that was a blatant lie as it hasn’t happened!
The quarterly will be interesting to me as in I’m interested to read what they have to say about the fundraiser and see what they say the money is going to be used for!

It’s not what any of us signed up for, I wonder if it’s the bots government asking for this to be included in the business plan?
Or it’s just gilby making sure he’s got something different to include in the quarterly report imo

Extremely sad news!

I thought that could be the case but wasn’t sure, just thought it would be a good show to existing holders!

We all know that things are up in the air right now, so what would calm my nerves would be to see the director’s purchasing a load of shares! That would show me and others that the directors still have faith in this project going forward!!
