There's definitely the potential for a buyout by Bracco, but hopefully not for a while. There's tremendous potential here. The co are forecasting 25 sales pa, which gives both capital sales and ongoing revenues for gas and servicing. Anyone with an MRI machine is a target for their tech.
I bought 20,000 but its showing as a sell! So I wouldn't rely on the buys and sells
I think you'll find the number of shares held by him hasn't changed, but his % holding has reduced due to new shares in issue.
Its not an SO4 rule its an ASX rule - its how the Aussies conduct their share dealing. SO4 don't have a choice - on AIM price sensitive news has to be released immediately, on ASX they have to do a trading halt.
Its just their rules - and seems like a good idea, but imagine the dip they would get in a share that issued bad news - everyone would know and have their fingers poised to sell as the market reopened. It gives a level playing field to investors who can't be online all the time to monitor the news, but I'm not sure it controls swings.

Opportunity to get in now before the announcement - I can see a bit of buying the afternoon.
Yes, I'd expect there to be an RNS on it

This is what is in the RNS: "Placees will receive one warrant (“Warrant”) for every two Placing Shares and accordingly, subject to the Placing completing, 45,454,545 Warrants will be issued by the Company. Each Warrant permits the holder to subscribe for one new ordinary share in ECR Minerals plc at a price of 3.75p for a period of 24 months from the date of Admission. "
Thats one share at 3.75
A placing is not a bad thing - although there are new shares - the money raised goes into the companies bank account and so increases the value of the shares. And if its put to good use, then it increases the share price. The only negative is that the placing shares are at a small discount. But at £48m MCAP that isn't going to have much of an affect
That's never happened to me before - I watched the Proactive interview, thought yest and bought some more, and then the RNS dropped a minute later. Normally I think I must do that and then the RNS comes in before I have time!
Anyone spotted whether this will be done under KIN or if there will be a new epic code?

Due to be out of suspension by 27th July so should see some movement here after that: 9 June 2014 ASX Limited Level 8 Exchange Plaza 2 The Esplanade Perth WA 2000 Att: Dave Filov By email: Dave.Filov@asx.com.au Suspension of Trading Dear Dave Further to our advice provided on 6 May 2014, the Board of Alcyone Resources would like to advise that the previously announced material fundraising transaction remains in process but is not yet complete. The Company is in discussions with a number of parties and is taking the appropriate time to consider its available options. An update to the market will be provided as soon as a material transaction is completed. The leaching operations at the Twin Hills mine site in Texas, Queensland have reached the point where it is no longer economic to continue production without a fresh supply of ore. As a result the operation has been place on care and maintenance until funding becomes available. The company’s securities will remain suspended until the direction of the company has been clarified and a material fundraising transaction completed, at which time all outstanding compliance requirements will be met. The Company anticipates lodging an announcement to ASX regarding the proposed transaction, and its half year financial statements, on or prior to 26 July 2014. This is expected to result in the lifting of the suspension on Friday 27 July under ASX Listing Rule 17.5. Yours faithfully, ALCYONE RESOURCES LIMITED
There's a level of support at around 305. I'd like to think this will bottom out now and then go into reverse. I too am baffled by the decline as there is nothing wrong with the company or the sector they are in. The results have been positive, so why the change in sentiment? Its a good company with strong management that I'd been a supplier to since their MFI days ( until a couple of years ago when I left that job) and I've always been impressed by the enthusiasm of staff at all levels. I originally invested mid February, close to their peak and lost a little on them. I'm now on the sidelines waiting to get back in when this bottoms out.
