Just for old times sake

And, as many will remember, one of Woodford’s ‘knock down stocks’ acquired, was good old Synairgen.
I don’t think the co. could have expressed their frustration and annoyance in a more restrained response.
Obviously the next few days will be awkward, as any public criticism of the FDA may be held against them in the future, so they must continue with any subsequent announcement being suitably ‘cool’ , yet reassuring to investors.
A difficult balance - but one which I believe the CEO & his team are up for.
Fingers crossed.
Should be interesting to see any TR1s over the next few days from major shareholders who’ve reduced(or increased!) or whether it’s just been PIs hit.
Not quite a baseless assertion, as you can see from the chart action down to a£1 after RM’s earlier announcement of a delay.
Once an sp’s been there once, it can do it again -particularly with such a high proportion of (fragmented) pi support - and an impatient market.
But, as has been pointed out, there’s potentially positive news to drop anytime, so the situation’s not quite the same.
A further comment from ADVFN on this gentleman’s holding seems to explain matters:
‘He has just been tardy in updating his significant shareholders percentage position after he was diluted in the last capital raise. Actually in fact it was the the recent issue to the directors in exchange for lowering their salary that knocked him under the 3%. It is dated the 31st August as that is when the company in an RNS updated the total voting rights so that is when he would have calculated that he breached the 3% level.’
Any offer would have to get shareholder approval, so whoever makes one(?) would need to get a majority on board.
Wonder where they got the stock?
Maybe.
But each day seems to close with a definite move on SETs to push the sp down in the final minutes.
Today, 200k sold; 60k bought.
Perhaps it’s to stop the chart patterns from indicating a break out which would be picked up by momentum trading programs?
