Boarded late here but bought a small number at 18p and then at 23/24 in a few tranches. Made around 20% net.

Not sold yet but given you can buy atm for 28.8p and the completion date is late Match that would be a net return of around 4%. That's better than some isa savings over a year.

I guess risk now is minimal and you'd need a decent amount to make it worthwhile.

I think RR will drop on Monday in sentiment with airline stocks which will be down 5-10% on day 1, perhaps more if it drags into week . A good week to invest (sadly) if you have spare cash. RR will drop a few %, but recovery will be quick over the coming weeks as this conflict will not last too long imho

The price direction is not necessarily moving in line with the defence sector sentiment and there's been much support in recent weeks, so suspect you could be right. All defence stocks down atm apart from one. Interesting.

Seems the market is responding to AJB's criticism of Reeves' changes to isa rules. Seems overdone.

Defence stocks are down from our around 5-7% over the month, Cohort is down around 25% Suggests something is afoot. All catalysed by senior figures in the company selling their shares.

Been watching this from the sidelines for a few months and yesterday afternoon decided to hopefully take advantage of the dip. Main reasons being that as a frequent user I've always been impressed by the customer experience and professionalism of the staff. The entire check-in process is slick and courteous. In contrast I've never enjoyed BA (I was a frequent traveller until recently. I also think a lot of old money use Jet2 so I dont think the economic uncertainty will hit this company as much as others. All opinion.

From what I can see most of the transactions going through today (according to LSE) are relatively small buys and sells. Not sure if the MM are trying to encourage or panick holders and JM staff to sell their holding.

You're probably correct with that rationale but I would add that my couple of bmodedt tranche buys today are recorded as sells, so not just large purchases. The price difference between sell/buy makes it obvious that most on here this morning are buys
